These World Centric CPL-CS-12, PLA Lids with Straw Hole for 9-24 Oz Cold Cups, 1000/CS are made from PLA, which is derived from plants. They are suitable for cold liquids, freezer safe and compost in 2 to 4 months in a commercial composting facility. Even though they are as light and strong as plastic, these disposable Lids fully break down when commercially composted. Not microwavable. PLA products should be stored in a cool place below 110В° F and out of direct sunlight.
