Way more convenient than a small ladle, and helps to measure the portions more adequately. The steel quality is ok for this price, but what's really important - this dipper saves time.

I thought this dipper would be more convenient than a smaller ladle, but in practice - not so much. I guess it depends on what you're used to, so it's not really the seller's fault. Maybe, it will work for someone, but for me pouring a whole quart at once is not exactly handy.

This dipper is very lightweight, which is important given its capacity. It's nice to use even when you have a full quart in the dipper. The handle doesn't slip, and the dipper is incredibly easy to clean.
