Karat KE-KDL508, Compostable Sipper Dome Lid for 8-Ounce Hot Cups, 1000/CS, BPI was designed specifically for eco-friendly Karat 8-ounce hot cups. They are made from modified PLA, which can handle up to 185 degrees Fahrenheit, making them ideal for hot drinks. Even though these lids are strong and light as plastic, they are compostable and biodegradable, it takes up to 6 months for them to decompose in a commercial composting facility.
